Hoping there are some jam experts on here! My mum picked a lot of wild blackberries with my DSs this summer (in France). She then made several pots of jam with it, which we brought home. Problem is she left the seeds in and, because they were wee wild berries, there are an awful lot of seeds in there. The boys won't eat it, and I'm not all that keen myself.
If I melt it all down to a liquid, strain out the seeds, then re-bottle it, will it set to a jelly? Any tips / suggestions welcome. I don't want to waste it. I don't think it would get eaten as a pour over for ice cream if it didn't reset - we rarely eat puddings.
