Mincemeat recipe

Has anyone got a nice mincemeat recipe they wouldn't mind sharing, am bored of the one I always do

Have just seen this, sorry for a late reply! In case you've not made your mincemeat yet...

300g each currants, raisins and suet
1 bramley apple, grated
85g mixed peel
1 lemon, juice and zest
250g muscovado sugar
100ml booze (whisky/brandy are most usual, Cointreau or Calvados are also delicious!)
2 tsp mixed spice
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Mix all together, but in to sterilised jars, topped with a bay leaf.

So simple!

Here is mine, made last week. It made three big-ish and one medium sized jar.
