Quick help cottage pie rescue needed

I didn't have any beef stock cubes so I used a veg one, and a sprinkle of beef gravy granules, but it's just not cutting it.

What can I use to add a meaty flavour to rescue it?

Bovril or marmite

Worcester sauce?

I've just run out of marmite this morning!

And no bovril

I could maybe get DP to get some on the way home but it is supposed to be in the oven by then.

No Worcester sauce either.

I have soy sauce? That's not going to work is it?

HP sauce and a glug of sherry. Defo not soy sauce.

More gravy granules - will be fine just quite thick so add extra water.

I have soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown sauce, um...mustard, various herbs and spices.

Thanks, I've gone with the HP it actually tastes quite nice. DP hates brown sauce though so I won't tell him and see if he notices. I've only put a small amount in.
