I need to make a cake with Tiny Clanger on it

My dd, who has just turned 3, has requested that her cake this year has Tiny Clanger on it. Last year I did Peppa Pig, and I have to say it turned out quite well especially as I hadn't done any fondant icing decorating before.

Tiny Clanger isn't going to be easy though, I've looked at pictures of her and don't think she'll come out very well in icing! It will probably end up looking like a child has made it - I'm not very artistic.

Any ideas?

Can you knit, OP? Or know anyone who does? You could have a knitted one as a cake-topper for your dd to keep afterwards - there's a pattern if you google. Sorry, ipad won't do links for some reason

I saw a Clangers magazine the other day which I think had a plastic tiny clanger on it. You could make the cake like one of the crater things and just put Tiny Clanger on it?

Thanks all, I had seen some pictures of clangers cakes with the cake as the planet and clangers as models on top, but I think dd will be expecting one with a picture of Tiny Clanger on. I might have to resort to a model though as it will be easier! I hadn't realised there was a Clangers magazine, I might have to get one, thanks Pauline!

How long have you got, Momo? You could get one printed on an icing sheet. Lots of companies do it, and they're a great idea. Much less faff too!
