Hi I’ve just today installed a new Neff circotherm double oven in my kitchen and well it will take me a little bit of getting used to. So I'm here looking advice from anyone who uses this type of oven

As you'll appreciate Christmas is just around the corner and it’s time to start baking for Christmas. I’ll soon be starting my Christmas Cake and I’ll be using Delia Smith’s Christmas Cake Recipe
www.deliaonline.com/recipes/cuisine/european/english/classic-christmas-cake.html

In previous years this cake has turned out perfect for me but I’m a little nervous about cooking it in my new oven. If anyone has this type of oven could you advise me how one would cook a cake like this: temperature, shelf position, time, that sort of thing. I know it is going to be a learning curve

Kevin

Firstly, I think that you can turn the fan off in a Circotherm. Secondly, if in doubt it might be worth typing something on the DeliaOnline website. I know the lady who tends to do most of the replies and I am sure that she will be able to help. You will, in effect, get the answer from "the horses mouth".
