Dried beans and slow cooker

I suspect the answer is no- but am wondering if I can use my slow cooker to cook a big batch of dried beans? If so, anyone know how? Ie high or low, how long, do I still need to pre-soak?

If they are kidney beans you need to fast boil them for 10 minutes first to destroy the toxin in them.

Of course you can but soak overnight and 10 mins fast boil first ( kidney beans essential, but I do for all).
Especially good for chick peas as they don't split or go mushy. I just cook for a day/ long evening as usual.
Then freeze in meal sized batches

Excellent. I'll give it a go. Definitely not a fan of mushy chickpeas so this sounds good.
