Advice re my 18month old's diet

Hello
Getting worried my 18 month old is having less and less variety in his diet. He doesn't eat any vegetables whatsoever (apart from the occasional pea!) but is generally happy to eat:

Baked beans
Homemade Chicken goujons
Ham / sliced turkey / sliced chicken
Fruit - apple, melon, grapes, nectarine, the occasional satsuma
Homemade potato wedges
Omelette
Planish pasta
Toast incl cheese on toast
Cereal - weetabix, shreddies, ready break, cheerios
Yoghurt
Sausages
Raisins / oath bars for snacks

He has the above, pretty much on rotation every week. How can I get some veggies down him?! How can I encourage him to eat new things or will it happen in time?

He won't eat anything like spag bol, cottage pie, fish pie - anything with a sauce basically or anything too wet.

Thanks in advance for any advice / reassurance ...

Will he eat them as snacks so slices of cucumber, carrots, florets of broccoli and cauliflower etc as a start maybe in a bowl with fruit then gradually shift to more veg and diff types.

You could also mix in roast veg with the wedges so it looks the same (turnips, carrots).
Or put some bits in the omelet.

I also give veg before the rest of dinner so some are eaten while he is hungry and waiting for the rest of the meal.

Mines two and doesn't eat much veg either but these steps get some in each day.

Homemade Chicken goujons - change the recipe to add grated veg

Homemade potato wedges - use sweet potato, butternut squash, parsnip

Omelette - grate veg into it

Yoghurt - serve with "sauce" so pureed apple, blueberries, raspberries,

Make home made muffins - courgette, carrot potato onion and cheese grated into them

Some great ideas there - thanks v much. Like the idea of grating veg into omelette and roasting carrot, squash etc with the potato wedges. Will also try some veg pieces as snacks / before meals although I have a horrible feeling I know what he'll do!! Guess I have to keep trying though....just so depressing when he turns his nose up at so much, argh. Thanks again

I started veg snacks after nursery on the walk home so he couldn't just go and find something else and I know he isnt starving hungry then bit needs something to make it to dinner time.

Veg snacks on the go is a very good idea. I'll try this tomorrow. So determined to introduce some new foods to his diet.
Any others in a similar boat with their 18 month old?
