I am planning to use

Pineapple
Strawberries
Marshmallows
Bananas
Grapes
Kiwis
Melon

I am terrible at portioning though (for mains) so I like to freeze any leftovers but I have never had to freeze (any deserts before as they normally get devoured) fruit before and wonder if it can be done?

If I can freeze them do I freeze on the skewer? With the marshmallows?

Most of the fruit has a high water content and wouldn't freeze nicely.

I think I would just eat them now.

I don't think fruits like strawberries, kiwis and grapes defrost very nicely, they go all mushy.

Those are all quite watery fruits, so will go quite mushy when you defeat them. When they are frozen, the water will expand as it becomes ice, which will break down the structures so when the ice turns back to water, it will be mushy.

I'd freeze it anyway, and then use it as smoothie mix (minus the marshmallows!) or to make pudding - summer fruit Eton mess with crumbled meringue?

Defeat?! Defrost...

You can freeze just about anything but what they'll look and taste like when thawed is something different!
Strawberries go mushy, bananas are lovely frozen (like ice cream) but go brown and mushy when thawed, grapes are ok-ish, melon's fine but never tried kiwis.
Marshmallows? No idea.
If you don't freeze on the skewers you'll get a fruit salad Grin

I hadn't thought about that... I think I'll give it a good go - I like your idea spare of it all goes tits up wrong, and I cant defeat them XP - I can use it as a smoothie mix.... Need to use my nutriblast anyway lol x I might put some in a ziplock and some on a skewer to freeze and see how it all ends.
