Help! Spinach question

May seem stupid, but can I just add baby spinach leaves direct to a bolognaise sauce during cooking or do I need to precook the spinach? Thsnks

Just add it straight in - you can literally bung it in just before you serve it - the heat of the meal will do all the cooking it needs :)

YY it is much nicer if it doesn't get too much cooking so it is much better to leave it to the last second. It wilts immediately but doesn't go too slimy.
