Greek style lamb???

Thinking of making a lamb with feta salad kind of meal. Any suggestions for a lamb marinade. Aside from crusty bread, what could I serve up as the carb part?

Thanks

Orzo pasta.

I would marinade in garlic, lemon, mint and oregano.

Look up kleftiko - lemons olive oil and herbs - with feta and potatoes

this is a really simple Delia's Greek baked lamb recipe, just with oil and lemons that's lovely.

It goes well with a Greek salad with feta, I also serve with little potatoes (cut new pots into 4 pieces, dry on a clean tea towel, toss in olive oil & s&p and bake in oven for 30-40mins @200 (fan)), plus some home made tzatziki.

The traditional version of lamb kleftiko is very simple. Rub salt, pepper and olive oil on the lamb, add Rosemary and garlic, wrap really really well in baking foil (multiple layers so the oil does not escape) and bake for a long time on low heat (150C for at least 5 hours but depends on size).

I'd put the feta in the salad.
