And what should I provide for Muslim children?

What age kids? How long do you intend to be out with them and what sort of stuff are you doing Id think the more active the more food and drink you will need.

Id just not provide and meat so the muslim kids can eat everything on offer.

Age 7 and 8, out for 3 hours, we've no planned games but it's a picnic so I expect lots of running around. Good idea having no meat, I'll do that, thanks. Smile

I'd take a couple of loads of bread made into two types of sandwiches (cheese/egg prob). A couple of multibags of crisps pref only two flavours so prob wotsits and skips. A couple of punnets of easily shared fruit like grapes, couple of cucumbers and a sharp knife so you can cut chunks. Then off course enough biscuits and little cakes for a few each. About four bottles of pop (2 types) and 2 of tap water.
A flask of coffee/tea for the grown ups.
And of course paper plates, cups, kitchen roll and wet wipes. A picnic blanket with a waterproof back for the food and sitting adults, kids i assume will run and graze.

Loaves of bread ????

I'd buy those long crispy bread rolls and have 'safe' fillings, including one with just butter and cut them in 5/6s. Have a bowl of chopped fruit, some lemon/lime juice will keep apples from going brown. Use a cool box and bring some yogurts. Also if you have a good cool box, ours runs from car and I bring a fee blocks of ice cream, some wafers and they can have some after. Some packets of popcorn/crisps.
Have lots and lots of drinks!
