Hi All, I have a food blog and am starting to put together some 7 day meal plans (here's my first one - www.eatdrinkcook.co.uk/7-day-meal-plan-for-your-5-a-day/) and wondered if that's something that you find useful and if so, what type of meal plans you would tend to look for? Eg. budget, low cal, child friendly etc

Allergy friendly
Make ahead (because of our schedule I either cook when the DC are in bed so it's ready for the following day or batch cook at the weekend)

Cheap! But healthy, cook from fresh with lots of veg in a short timescale Wink

Having more then one recipe if you are using an unusual ingredient, so it can used up before it goes off.

Different breakfasts. Not just cereal or toast.
Vegetarian but not just cheese, butternut squash or black beans.
Foods from around the world
A mix of classics such as Shepherds pie and new/interesting recipes (that are simple)
Using ingredients that can be bought from the local supermarket
Say if they are freezable

Good luck. It sounds good

I like the ones that give you a weekly shopping list that covers all the meals.

Hi, I'm just searching for meal plans and found this thread. I'm looking for meal plans for a single person. I don't want to eat meat every day, want to keep costs down and make good use of yesterday's left-overs or the same 'base'. I don't need breakfast ideas.
