So please...tell me your foolproof pasta meals!

I don't know how 'Italian' this is...

Chicken and bacon cooked then stir in a big spoonful of Philly, diluted with milk if too thick. Mix with pasta shapes. Nice with broccoli too. My 14mo wolfs it anyway Smile

I fry smokey bacon or chorizo and stir through cooked pasta with chopped cherry tomatoes and spring onions if I have them

Cup o'soup pasta. Chicken cup o'soup. Pasta. Put on oven dish with veg and cheese, bake for ten mins. Whole family love it.
Or a pasta bake with a sauce made from chicken stock, Philly and any veg you fancy. Can add garlic or chilli if you like.

Fry smoked streaky bacon (snipped up) and courgette.
Boil pasta (penne)
Add low fat creme fraiche to cooked and drained pasta and also 100g of v strong grated cheddar.
Add bacon & courgette, mix and serve.

It's a big favourite in our house.

Sausagemeat, or skinned sausages , crumbled and fried in oive oil and garlic till browned a little, add one or two finely diced carrots, a tin of chopped tomatoes and splash or two of dry white wine. Use water if you don't want to use wine. Simmer half an hour or so till it has reduced and thickened a bit. Season to taste, add some chopped fresh herbs (thyme, basil) if you like. Freshly grated parmesan to serve. Good with rigatoni, penne, or other fairly chunky pasta.

Siobhan that sounds like a Jamie Oliver recipe with sausages that always goes down so well here

Anywhere you would use rice you could use Orzo pasta, so while the rest of you have a curry with rice your daughter gets curry with pasta that looks like rice.
