That looks amazing.

I've seen one on pinterest if that helps.
What bit is it you need a tutorial for? The kit kat cake is pretty easy to do and the ice is just something like glacier mints (do you even still get those?) I made a kit kat cake two years ago for Dp it really is death by chocolate but looks fab when done.

Hi. I've seen loads of pics on Pinterest but not any links in to how to actually make it. I'm just wondering does the cake need to be 2 layers or 3? Do the bottles just rest on the top or do I need to cut some of the cake away? I've seen another like this and it looks like the bottle is actually in the cake?

It's two layer cake. The bottles are resting in the icing

2 layer cake but depending on how it turns out you could add another layer if needed. Coat it in chocolate butter cream to make the kitkat stick to the sides better.
Personally I would probably cut a bit out the cake just to rest them in purely because if you plan on leaving them full they will be heavy and hard to secure with just icing or butter cream. Then ice around them and chuck on the ice like sweets.

Thanks all. Youmake that's what I was thinking - will the bottles be too heavy to stand up if they are just resting in the buttercream. Think I will cut a little out of the cake for them to stand in. Thanks again.

You'll need to show us a pic when it's done.

Fox's Glacier mints for the ice.
