Is this pie ok to eat?

Scotch egg pie. Made today. Had to go out at 1 but it was still really hot so covered it and put it in the utility room so pretty cool. On way home now. If I fridge it when I get home will it be ok to serve cold tomorrow?

Ha! It's sausage meat with hidden hard boiled eggs and breadcrumb topping. Smelled yummy when it came out of the oven but supposed to be feeding it to a load of people tomorrow and wanted to check it was ok!

I know official guidance is 2 hours unrefrigerated. It would probably have been cool some time around 2 so it's been on the side (covered) for 9 hours. Is that too long? It felt pretty cool when we got home.

Would serving it hot help???

8 hours after it cooled I mean. It was boiling hot at 1.
