.....would you risk the salmon? Chicken Kiev use by 22 July, would you risk it? Chicken breast use by 23 July will be cooked today! I guess the meal planning didn't work this week....

I'm normally very lassaiz faire about these things, but I don't think I'd use the salmon or the chicken Kiev. The chicken breast from yesterday, yes I would cook that today.

No to the salmon, probably yes to the Kiev, would sniff the chicken. Got back from holiday yesterday and ate yoghurt that was 17th. Didn't die in the night.

Thanks, decision made. It seems such a waste of money but a small price to pay with a busy weekend ahead involving a first sleepover for DS1, birthday for DS2 and a 50 mile trip to MIL for DH!
