Salads to go alongside a cold gammon joint?

Just that. What would you serve alongside? I cooked the gammon today, friends coming tomorrow and planning to serve it at room temp. Ideas please!

Green one, potato one and coleslaw (probably with red cabbage in)

I like a nice coleslaw, plain new potatos, and some sweet chilli baby beetroots (not the sort in a jar)

I was toying with something lentil-based instead of potato salad. Hmmm.

Whatever it is, it will definitely be homemade. Although I'm arsed if I'm making mayo on a weeknight - that but will be shop bought!

I often do BBQ baked beans with gammon. Various tins of beans, make a tomato sauce with added chilli sauce and grill with tons of cheese on top.

Wholegrain mustard baby new potato salad for me. Love it.

Oooh that's an idea iklboo - do you do that with a mayo base or vinaigrette?

Agree with all of the above but also tomato salad in vinegarette with basil and maybe mozerella. Really nice one I have found with pear, blue cheese and walnuts.

2/3 Mayo to 1/3 whole grain mustard, stir through warm new potatoes and sprinkle with chopped spring onions and snipped chives (yum).

Extra yummy if you added chopped smoked bacon but not with gammon unless you want a bacon overdose!

Green beans la Greque.
Tomatoes and green peppers Provençal.
