Hi what should I wrap the cake in to freeze ? Do all cakes freeze well?

I bought special plastic bags that said they were "freezer bags" for our wedding cakes.

I made them all the week before, thawed them the day before and iced. They were lovely and moist. But just plain sponge so nothing fancy!

I just wrap well in cling film once cool.

All cakes freeze well as long as they aren't iced and are well wrapped up.

I wrap in several layers of cling film then foil around that and if possible into a box to stop anything getting squished.
