Have just put a veggie nut loaf thing in the oven, all of my own device. What do you think it will taste like? Dog food or dried cat sick?
My dh thinks optimism is overrated.

Well whaddayouknow it was all right! Not enough to get a spontaneous compliment from dh but he ate it all.
If you fancy it, there was fried onion, garlic, carrot & mushroom mixed with tomato puree, marmite, soy sauce, sage and parsley. Then there were breadcrumbs, crushed nuts (mix of dryroast peanuts, seasoned cashews, bombay mix, pumpkin and sunflower seeds known in our house as 'Daddy Nuts') and grated cheddar. All mixed up with a beaten egg and baked at 180degrees for 45 minuts. Or whatever you've got in your cupboards
