reheating reheated Quorn?

WinifredBanks · 16/07/2015 09:49

I made a Quorn Mince chilli con carne on Tuesday, and last night reheated the last bowlful in the microwave. We didn't eat it all in the end, so would it be safe to reheat again today? Dish also contains onions, red peppers, kidney beans and tomatoes.
Thanks Smile

Dunno if safe but I definitely would, do this sort of thing all the time. My concerns are with meat or rice for reheating.

I wouldn't. Isn't it one of the golden rules of cooking? Don't re-re-heat food?

thank you both; I agree with you, Robot Hamster, that's the rule I've always applied, but I wanted to check out whether it had any basis in fact for Quorn and veggies.

I would do it with veggies and quorn. I would not with rice.
