Non dairy chicken tikka masala recipe?

I've got the Patak paste (which is non dairy) but am wondering what to replace the double cream with. Soya yoghurt has a horrible tendency to curdle when heated, so I'm leaning towards using a couple of those little Patak packets of creamed coconut you make up with hot water. But has anyone got an actual recipe that they've tried and that works?

I use creamed coconut in mine.

Coconut milk would be fine.

I have a lovely recipe for dairy free chicken rogan josh, which uses ground almonds in the sauce. We can't use coconut milk, (DD2 can't have it) but the ground almonds thicken the sauce and add a creaminess.

Sounds lovely Sanity Smile

Can you use almond or soy milk?
