Help! Ski slope cake, not sure how to do it!

I'm making DS a snow tubing cake for his party tomorrow. I've been so focussed on the detail I realise now I haven't thought through how to actually construct the cake itself.

I've made 4 layers of rectanglar cakes which I guess I vaguely thought I'd buttercream together and then slice from right to left into a vague wedge shape but not sure this will be 'slopey' enough.

Any suggestions please?!

Cut a semi circle out of the top of each layer to give a sort of 'upside down bridge" shape IYSWIM- use a side plate or something as a template - then stand them on their ends side by side, to give a half pipe shape. Glue it all together with buttercream, cover all in white frosting.

Hmm, bit scared it might collapse...especially if it's hot again tomorrow as it'll have to sit in the car for several hours.

How did it go?

Pretty well, thank you for asking!

That's brilliant

Thank you! I had to have the snow tubers going face down as I am rubbish at doing faces!

That's great, well done!
