OMG - I am supposed to be doing slimming world but feel obsessed with food today. An OP has just mentioned that she is having a curry and I could just eat one now.

What's your favourite? Be honest - I know there's a few MacDonalds fans out there somewhere

If I had my choice now I would go for a (decisions, decisions) a chinese I think. Mmmmmmm

OP posts:

make mine a prawn curry / pilau rice and lots of poppadums please [drooling emoticon]

MadDogShitWoman · 15/11/2006 20:17

Chips and mushy peas,yum!

Quootiepie · 15/11/2006 20:18

You know, a 79p floppy mcdonalds burger...mmm...

I had never even seen a kebab until I was 16/17... my ex bought one, opened the lid and I said "you've been diddled!!" I thought a kebab was like the ones you do on a barbeque, on a squewer (sp?)...

Burger king tastes burnt.

Tutter · 15/11/2006 20:19

sorry

but i am currently devouring a chikken tikka (NB not masala), matter paneer (sp.?) and half an onion kulcha

lulumama · 15/11/2006 20:20

chinese....salt & pepper chicken with noodles, and some prawn crackers....

Tutter · 15/11/2006 20:21

NB the secret to a non-lardy curry is to get a chicken tikka main - tis just the meat. comes with salad and yog sauce - mmmmm and doesn't leave you feeling ill

LadyMacbeth · 15/11/2006 20:22

Tonight is junk night in the Macbeth household, the Thane and I have been devouring Pizza Express pizzas.

Have room for a Chinese too but maybe that's due to the munchies that the vino collapso is currently inflicting.

Sheraz · 15/11/2006 20:41

Cod and chips and mushy peas, with a pot of tea. Delish, just had it for my tea!

VanillaMilkshake · 15/11/2006 21:01

Dont like burger king burgers or chips. But at 8.5 months PG I could eat just about anything else, oh except Indian - too much heartburn.

McDonalds Big Macs with that lovely sauce mayonnaise. Kebab mmm, Chinese drool Oh waht have you done to me.

By the way - dont loose heart on slimming world. When I did it, and did it properly I lost 5st in about a year! Stick with. You might just sneak a kebab in under the radar on a red day - if it's a chicken kebab - less fat!

Hattiecat · 15/11/2006 21:05

oh mine would be indian, followed by chinese, followed by pizza and then onto kentucky...but i can't eat ANY of these cos i've got gall stones, but i do make my dh have a take away every now and again just so i can look at it and sniff it....aaaaah....the pleasure is immeasurable...(hattiecat goes off dreaming of tasty, yummy food...)

aliceband · 15/11/2006 21:31

Tarka Daal for me, every time.

aliceband · 15/11/2006 21:32

Tarka Daal for me, every time.

it's like ordinary daal, only otter.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 15/11/2006 21:32

chinese...or indian....

Am definitely having chinese tomorrow though

Fattymumma · 15/11/2006 21:34

im a London girl and my all time fave is Pie and mash with loads of Liquer and plenty of vinegar over the mash.

mmmmmm. the only place i know of that still exists is in East london i had been known to drive the 15-20 miles from where i used to liev just to get pie & mash!

Nemo1977 · 15/11/2006 21:35

I think indian is my fave although could just eat chinese starters...mmmm

Frizbe · 15/11/2006 21:38

Fav is Curry, Chicken Saag to be precise, sigh...

Flossam · 15/11/2006 21:39

Erm, not KFC or indian. Does that answer it?

plibble · 15/11/2006 21:39

Chinese. Sweet and sour pork, egg fried rice and some bok choi in garlic. Greasy but sooooo worth it.

When I was pg, I had a strange obsession with Macdonalds special sauce . But it only comes on Big Macs and the smell of the warm lettuce in the burger made me hurl. Not fair at all.

Flossam · 15/11/2006 21:39

or kebabs actually.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 15/11/2006 21:40

Fatty - another pie n mash shop closed recently

StrawberryMoon · 15/11/2006 21:43

saw the title and just thought..oooooooo yes please

Fattymumma · 15/11/2006 21:46

its so sad.
its great food but just not as quick as things like burger king....kids can't walk dowb the road with a bowl of mash n liquer can they.

i am now really hungry

NotQuiteCockney · 15/11/2006 21:50

You can get takeaway mash. They wrap it in paper.

I live near about 8 billion of those bloody pie and mash shops. Never go in them.

And for the OP ... um ... none of those. I guess Indian can be ok, but the rest are rank, sorry.

TeeCee · 15/11/2006 21:54

Curry.
Chikkan tikka main with a korma sauce, pilau rice & bombay aloo.

BettySpaghetti · 15/11/2006 21:54

Most definitely Indian ! At a push I guess Chinese would be OK but its a poor second to an Indian (Mushroom Sag Aloo Balti, Tarka Dahl, Plain Naan, ...........mmmmmm)
