Do you wilt spinach for an omlette?

I have empty cupboards so am making myself a spinach and cheese omlette later.

Do I need to wilt the spinach first? Or chuck it on when I add the cheese?

Also have garlic, add or leave out?

I love a spinach omelet and I always wilt now because if I don't, it stays very firm and tastes very iron-y. I wilt it for just a minute in the microwave. Then I do my omelette, add the cheese and spinach and allow it to all ooze together. I personally prefer chilli to garlic! But I am odd. I also chuck in a few slices of ham for extra protein

I wilt it in the microwave for a minute then chuck it on with the cheese.

I shred it very finely and add in with the egg to the pan at the start, so it is all the way through. You don't taste it

Chilli sounds nice, I might have one kicking around the bottom of the veg box in the fridge
