I've just found a bag of spelt flour at the back of a cupboard, use by date of Dec 2012. It's not been opened, will it still be ok to use?

Open it, check it for flour weevils, sniff it.

If it passes the sight and sniff test I'd probably do it Grin depending on how queasy I was feeling!

Stonelog I clicked to say if there are no weevils go for it! You're obviously a lady after my own filthy heart

I always bin OOD flour, especially if it's that old. It will have deteriorated and won't cook properly.
