I cannot afford a whizz bang food mixer/processor but would love something that I can make hummus, breadcrumbs, pesto, soups etc with.

Smart foodie people of MN, what do you recommend??

Thanks x

I'd go for the Kenwood Multi-pro which has a processor jug (good for sauces, breadcrumbs, pastry) and a blender jug (soups, smoothies, etc) About £58 on JL website. Kenwood products pretty reliable too.

Moulinex things are good, don't know what JL stock though. My moulinex food mixer is 16yrs old and going strong.
