I have had my trusty Zojirushi for years or possibly decades. Wretched thing is leaking water and has packed up. People coming to supper later tonight and have never cooked Japanese rice in saucepan on hob. Does anyone know how to do it in failsafe way? So enslaved to my wonderful rice cooker that does it perfectly and keeps it warm until needed. No idea about temperature/timing/cover vs. not cover etc…… Can anyone help me? TIA!
