Pomegranate seeds

I've seen them ready to use in a pot, can I just sprinkle them into a salad or pop them on meat in the oven?

Yes. I had an amazing salad recently - lettuce leaves with a herby lemony dressing, topped with feta and pomegranate seeds. Am going to try to recreate it at home.
