When life gives you lemons....

Owing to an online shopping SNAFU I find myself with six lemons in the fridge.

There are only so many gin & tonics I can drink so can anyone suggest a nice recipe to use them up?

Not lemon curd (we have a jar on the go already).

Alternative preserved lemons.slice, layer with salt, stick of cinnamon, oil. I do a lovely middle easterny style slow cooked lamb. But 6 isn't that many and they last.

I don't get the problem. I get through 6 lemons a week, every week. I use them constantly.

Maybe you could make a helpful suggestion as to what the OP could do with them then.

Make pakora- I use the juice of one in the mixture, two cut up to serve.
Use the zest and the juice as a marinade for pork chops, chicken or fajitas.
Perfect with fish.

courgette fritters.
Grate and squeeze courgettes. Mix in lemon zest, salt and pepper and flour. Can also add feta cheese. Fry in tablespoon sized blobs. Serve with lemon juice and more salt.

Don't get me wrong, I do use lemons.... just not six a week.

Limoncello... yum.... I made that last Christmas.

Thanks for all the lovely suggestions!
