Filling for chocolate cake

Would you use a chocolate filling or vanilla? I think I'm going for a chocolate ganache to cover it. I haven't divided the cake yet so could just go for ganache covering but it might be less heavy with a cream filling..

Choc cake experts I need your advice please :)

At easter I did an Italian meringue salted caramel buttercream and it was divine .

Our go to chocolate cake is a Jamie Oliver one filled with cream and raspberries, then chocolate ganache poured over. It is fabulous. And completely ott.

After family request I'm going with chocolate orange cream to give it more of a jaffa cake theme, thanks for suggestions :)
