I have a slow cooker - it is a 6.5 litre one (got given it as a present) but I think it is too big for us as there is only two of us. I have managed to do a really nice gammon in it. I have tried various casseroles etc in it but I put it on in the morning when I go to work and when I came home 8-9 hours later the liquid has hardened to the pot....like maybe because it is bigger I should be doubling the amount of liquid in it. Then I think maybe i need to double the quantities of everything I put in. I always have it set to low...any ideas? Thank you.
