Chocolate cupcakes.

What shall I do? DH suggests Jam but I think that's a weird combination. I wish I had a pot of Nutella in the house 'cos that'd fix it, but I don't. I CBA to go out for more butter but won't have time to do anything else before they're needed tomorrow.

Have you any soft cheese, philadelphia or similar?

pinktransit · 03/06/2015 20:21

How sensible of you - you've left some plain for those people that don't like icing :)

Not everyone likes buttercream, or even plain icing, so you've catered for them, too.

Tanaqui · 03/06/2015 20:22

Do a glacé icing (icing sugar and water, or orange juice might be good with chocolate)

AnguaResurgam · 03/06/2015 20:22

Just eat them naked?

juneybean · 03/06/2015 20:24

Eat them and pretend they never existed.

msrisotto · 03/06/2015 20:25

No cream cheese sadly. I do have marshmallows but can for see a Pinterest fail if i try to recreate the melted marshmallow on top of the cupcake thing, unless anyone can vouch for it?

I still can't believe there are people in the world who don't like icing! Crazy.

Ooh, i've never tried glacé icing and I LOVE it on store bought eclairs. Good idea. What are the quantities?

Simple glacé icing with icing sugar and water / lemon / orange juice?

GooodMythicalMorning · 03/06/2015 20:26

Marshmallow thing doesn't work. Its horrible.

Laska42 · 03/06/2015 20:27

Melted plain choc and peanut butter and a little brown sugar mixed together (with maybe a little cinnamon inthe mix) ...Trust me....

CloserToFiftyThanTwenty · 03/06/2015 20:27

For three cupcakes? Start with a tablespoon of icing sugar and add liquid literally a drop at a time

meerschweinchen · 03/06/2015 20:28

Quantities are easy. Just tipmicing sugar in a bowl, and slowly add a drop of boiling water and a time, and mix until it's the right consistency. You can add cocoa powder if you want to make chic icing.

Laska42 · 03/06/2015 20:28

dont melt the peanut butter!! mix the melted choc, sugar and cinnamon into it (Crunchy peanut butter the best IMHO) ..

meerschweinchen · 03/06/2015 20:29

Oops! Sorry about the typos. No mice or chicks needed Grin

msrisotto · 03/06/2015 20:31

Awesome, thank you, will give it a go!

msrisotto · 03/06/2015 20:32

Oh, I already put the mice in the bowl, they're not happy now! :)
