Is this a decent meal or a joke?

Two mugs of cup a soup (not slimmer's ones, normal)

Two thick slices of homemade wholemeal bread

An apple

A tangerine

A pint of water

I know, I should cook more soups for myself Mercy . It's just that I do so much cooking for the rest of the family at lunch and dinner (I freeze portions of things for dh to take to work and microwave), and I enjoy cooking their meals because I can use cream and full fat cheese and honey and all sorts of things I wouldn't put in my own food (am mildly intolerant of dairy so am trying to stay off it, and am genuinely keen to lose a bit of weight) I do tend to just think "sod it" when it comes to deciding what to have myself. It's not a martyr thing, it's just the way it happens.

I tried miso soup once and it tasted like urethral extract of mosquito. I'm with moondog, make your own soup, so cheap and good for you, and you know what's in it,a nd lentils help you go. You know . . .go

No changed name, had allotment problems you know. Now going great, onions, garlic, herbs, and mizuna (which has germinated!)

I can cook but i can't do soup or cakes.
