What type of food colouring for sponge please?

I use Sugar Flair/Wilton pastes for icing but not sure whether they can be see in sponge mixtures. What does anyone use please?

Stick with those, but it always ends up lighter when baked than the mix looks so add more than you think

Have a look at rainbow cake recipes. I think they usually suggest gel or paste colourings. I have used sugar flair paste for it.
