Hello All!

Am looking for some yummy marinades and/or sauces for chicken and meat.

I can never seem to get the meat to taste of the marinade so all hints/tips/recipes VERY welcome!

TIA

I mix together -
1 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon grainy mustard
and use this usually to marinade beef steak which I cut into strips and then I stir fry it with veg and noodles. Its yummy and even the kids like it.

i do a similar one to feelingold....tend not to measure...just splash it all in according to how much meat!!

good one is

chicken..cut into strips....marinated in

lots of olive oil, honey & some rock salt, lemon or orange juice , garlic and a splash of worcestrer sauce.....

works for turkey strips too

or chicken marinated in some natural yoghurt and tikka spices...Asda do a ready mixed one.....that is lovely....and soooo easy...

anything lemony, garlicky with tarragon works great with chicken

meat i don't tend to do as much

but when doing a roast, i lay it on a bed of red onion, shallots, veg....and lots of red wine & stock while it is cooking, makes a lovely tasty roast, lots of good gravy and your veg is done at the same time....

Again no measurements
Jack Daniels, tom sauce, brown sauce, sugar and maybe a bit of worcester sauce.
Its gorgeous over steak and chicken and if you pour it over the meat while its cooking, it goes all sticky.
Yumm
