(possibly stupid) souffle question

I have a recipe from Sainsburys mag for passionfruit soufflé which I want to make tonight. The ingredients (for 8, am planning to halve it) are:

Butter for greasing
140g caster sugar
2 egg yolks
6 egg whites
Pulp from 5 passionfruit

Does this sound right? I thought soufflé would have some flour in it, even if only a bit?

Also, would my plan to halve the recipe, so it's for 4, be ok?

Sounds right! Though I guess you have made it by now!

Made it, was nice although husband said was too eggy. He's not into puddings though, so I don't really trust his judgement.

It did lack the texture that flour would bring imho so would prob not use that recipe again, even though I liked it.

I was was excited once as a teen to be served cheese soufle at some sort of event. Didnt know what it was exactly, just that it was posh and sophisticated. MASSIVELY disappointed to find out it was just a refined scrambled egg and cheese, really. Hated eggs, at the time. Had to politely eat it all or appear childish and whingey.
