Best way to freeze potatoes for quick meals?

I'm still playing with my chest freezer trying to create healthy (ish), home cooked family meals I can get onto the table within 30mins of getting home with no fuss as want to spend those 30mins playing with baby not peeling spuds!
So I have lots of homemade pies in the freezer which I defrost over the day. What can I do with potatoes? Peeled, diced and frozen - could they then be boiled and mashed? All ideas welcome!!

I freeze mashed potato and then microwave it.

I always cook spuds in their skins.

I think you need to cook before freezing due to the water content.
Mash freezes very well- freeze on a non stick tray in spoonfuls and then bag.

peel, cut and too boiling water, par boil for 7 mims. Cool and freeze. You can then roast from frozen for half an hour.
When you freeze, freeze them on a tray spaced apart, once frozen you can bag them.

Don't freeze from raw - you have to either part cook or fully cook before freezing.

Always par boil then freeze on trays and then put into serving size bags, so you can take a bag out at a time. Then either roast, chip or finish the cooking and make mash or potato salad etc.
