The bottom element in my oven has died and I can't replace the oven without getting a whole new kitchen which involves knocking walls. It's planned for later in the year, but not before I have to make cakes, buns, etc, for at least 3 family birthday parties! I have a big micro/oven combi but I've never used it for more than reheating dinner for DH. Any experience of them for baking? I'll try something at the weekend but any tips or know how would be great.
