Making sushi...

Has anyone ever tried to do this at home? Where do you get sushi-grade fish?

My mum makes the rolls, substituting the raw fish for smoked salmon, but I's like to do it properly.

The Cornish Fishmonger does sushi grade tuna, and generally speaking their quality/freshness is pretty good so I think their salmon would be ok for sushi too.

I get it at my local fish shop. I tell them that I am buying for sushi and they tell me which fish was deep frozen and is safe.

Sushi is all about the freshness, which can be very hard to find! If you're in the London area, Kensington Fine Fish was launched to source high quality fresh to order - particularly suitable for sushi
