octopus recipes anyone?

Bought a reduced 0.5kg octopus from morrisons.
What can I do with it?
Found a recipe for octopus and red wine stew in 2 books I have got
Wondering if anyone else has ideas or tips?

All I know is you have to cook it really quickly OR for ages otherwise it'll be tough. ( helpful post)

Well it's gonna be a octopus and red wine stew from Australian women's weekly
However couldn't get some key ingredients this pm as main supermarkets had shut so I did step 1 tonight and will finish tomorrow
Step one was heat olive oil and octopus and garlic until octopus liquid has almost evaporated ( it gave out loads of liquid which was a surprise)
Next will involve baby onions (presume shallots?) tomatoes copious amounts of red wine, herbs and slow cooking for an hour and a half
I thought it was better to cook it as it was reduced!

Pulpo a laGallega?
Look it up but you need mainly potatoes and paprika.
Never cooked octopus myself but eaten it lots

Second pulpo a la gallega.
