Heating chicken slices

Probably a bit of a silly question but I'm wondering is it ok to heat up the pre packed chicken slices/chicken strips types of meat that are pre packed in the chillers in supermarkets.
I think it's fine to warm them up under the grill for about 3/4 minutes before eating but DP thinks they should be eaten chilled - can anyone advise please. It's for our 9 yr old dc to eat not us as we are veggies hence our concern.

I've heated them before now, chicken tikka slices and rice yum!
Just ensure they get hot not tepid, they must be well heated. Enjoy

I heat them to eat with noodles. Nobody's died here.

I heat them in the microwave for the kids

I always nuke reheated chicken so it kills any nasties. Make sure it's thoroughly heated through and I don't think it's a problem!
