Agreed to do a buffet for a friends birthday and the party has a speakeasy theme so was wondering what people thought of these dishes.
Waldorf Salad
Cesar Salad
Green salad with Italian dressing
Tomato Bruschetta
Deviled eggs
Finger sandwiches with cream cheese and cucumber and turkey with swiss cheese.
Baked Ziti or Penne
All served with loads of crusty bread
This is to feed 70 with a budget of £90
Any thoughts would be great.

Sounds lovely. I'd ditch the sandwiches (because they take so long to make) and use Ritz crackers.

Are you going to do desserts? New York cheesecake or Key lime pie?

Candle Salad was apparently popular en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candle_salad

Mint Juleps and Gin Rickeys

To end the party you should just yell "It's a raid"
