Salmon fishcakes

Probably a stupid question.
I've just made some salmon fishcakes out of tinned salmon.
Can they be frozen? If so should I cook them all first, then freeze and reheat or should I freeze them uncooked.

Presumably everything in them has already been cooked so I would just freeze them as they are.

That's where I'm a bit confused, because I used tinned salmon, so I'm not sure if it's ok to freeze it uncooked or not Confused
