Making a Swiss roll the night before?

I am looking a for a classic cake for Ccc but I need to make it the day before. I have not made a Swiss roll since school and looking at the recipes they seem to be fatless and I am worried that it would dry out if I made it the day before. Does anybody know if it will?

what are you going to fill it with? Just jam then def make it on the day, but if you are going more roulade-y with a sumptuous filling then you might get away with it.

Personally I rarely make cakes the day before, I think you can tell. Esp for for light cakes...different for a moist chocolate or carrot affair.

and CCC?? is it secret? ;) Cake

CCC is definitely a secret, well the location. I can't tell if you know what CCC is so here is a link clandestinecakeclub.co.uk

For CCC I and most people have to make the cake a day before because I go straight after work.
