I'm a big baker and rarely buy store made puddings but I saw this and thought 'oooo that sounds nice'. It was bloody marvellous! Served with home made custard from the first eggs our chooks have laid this year! (3 egg yolks, small tub double cream, 2 tsp vanilla sugar - heat on a low heat until thickened, stirring continuously)

Well done Lidl, well done!

It's a bit yellow :) I came last in a baking comp once as the judge didn't like my cake as I had used food colouring - I just used free range eggs from the garden. Told her if she couldn't tell the difference between free range eggs and food colouring then her opinion was worthless ;)

AuntieDee · 10/04/2015 19:34

I got asked to leave the WI for being rude to the judge telling her she was an idiot for not knowing the difference between food colouring and free range egg
