Probably a silly question from an over anxious first time Mum Wink but isit best to use tinned lentils or the dry ones you have to soak first for my 7 month old?
Also when Ive made the meal with them can I freeze the rest? Thanks x

I cook with lentils quite a lot and I use the dry ones and I don't soak them.

I buy the puy ones from Merchant Gourmet that come in a pouch - you microwave them for a minute or so. Like microwaveable rice. Yum

Thanks everyone. So just those that come dry and in the packs like rice? And I can freeze them after?

Generally I open the microwave packs if its just me and take half out to freeze then microwave the other half.

I boil red split lentils and found them brilliant for weaning,

Lunaberry · 06/04/2015 14:32
