Can I freeze white sauce/bechemel

was planning on making a large lasagne for a get together tonight but it was cancelled at the last minute. I had already made the meat sauce and the white sauce. I don't have room to freeze an assembled lasagne but can freeze the meat sauce. Can I also freeze the white sauce?

Yes, I've done this when I've had milk that's been going off and it means on a work night I can make a quick macaroni cheese!!
