cauliflower cheese the day before

Could I make cauliflower cheese the day before? I was thinking of making it to the point of it being in the casserole and then just putting it in the oven tomorrow. Would that work?

Yes it should be fine, ive done that before

I need cauliflower cheese now

It freezes well too, I made one for Christmas Day a couple of weeks early and then just defrosted the night before.
