Who's Jerome? :)

I make a yummy black bean soup - can post recipe if you want it.

Also - just fry up some vege, add spices, red lentils, water, cook. Or use coconut milk in place of some of the water.

I usually cook some leeks, broccoli, onions etc today with some vegetable stock, herbs etc. After cooking for approx 15 minutes, I drain off some water then blend it with a hand blender, which thickens it up. I don't stick to any particular recipe, just literally bung it all in, cook, and then blend.

An electric hand -held blender

Chop and onion and fry very slowly in oil. Peel and chop any other veg and add to the onion as you chop it. Cook until all the veg is softening. Add some water and stock cube, and salt and pepper. Cook until veg started to fall apart, then whizz down and reseason if necessary.
