Peppers in a casserole in the slow cooker

Will they turn to mush? We're out all day Monday and I was thinking of doing a slow cooker chicken/tomato/pepper casserole. Will the pepper still be discernible when we return?

Mine are never mushy. Do you use the lowest setting? I had carrots in all day the other day and they were still nice and firm when I dished up. I do tend to put my peppers in frozen though as I chop and freeze them so I always have some in an emergency, same with meat etc.

Yep, they'd be in all day on low, but not from the freezer
